Rev. Lou Divis Presented at Nov 17 Rotary Meeting

At the Nov 17 Rotary Meeting at Purkey's Pink Apple, Rotarian Reverend Lou Divis spoke to the club about the NEPA Task Force Against Human Trafficking. Lou is a member of the Task Force Sub-Committee on Community Outreach and Awareness and presented many alarming facts about human trafficking taking place right here in Northeastern PA. Human trafficking occurs in sweatshops, hotels, massage parlors, domestic service etc. She also emphasized the importance of reporting any suspected cases to local law enforcement and to agencies such as the Victims Resource Center.
