At its Dec 23 Luncheon at Shadowbrook, the Tunkhannock Rotary was delighted to hear about the Tunkhannock Public Library’s 25 Days of Christmas Bedtime Stories. The program was described by Brenda Mills, who is the Assistant Director of Programs at HANDS of Wyoming County and Dellana Diovisalvo, Executive Director of the Library. Angela Hunsinger, who is the program coordinator at the Library took the lead on this program.
Collaborations on programs and community outreach increased when both organizations closed during COVID, but still wanted to keep in touch with their clients, families and children.
So, leading up to Christmas, they have been doing bedtime stories for children for the 25 days of Christmas. The stories were being read by staff of the Library & HANDS, some teachers and P&G employees who read as part of their community outreach.
