The theme of the Oct 31 Rotary luncheon at Purkey's Pink Apple was Rotary Halloween Fun. Mary Tempest and Ron Furman, co-chairs of the membership committee, coordinated a wear your favorite Halloween Hat Contest, as well as, a Rotary trivia contest between tables of participants.
The 3 finalists for the Hat contest were selected by a panel of Rotarian judges, who did not wear hats to the meeting. The finalists were Sandy Lane, Mike Markovitz and Patty Ehrenzeller. The winning hat was selected by the assembly, who voted with their level of applause for each finalist. And the winning hat was worn by Mike Markovitz!

The table that won the Rotary Trivia contest was comprised of exchange student Ale, Patty Ehrenzeller, Don Davis and Terri Detrick. Congratulations to all the winners, but everyone was actually a winner, since it was such a fun event.
