On Sept 18, Pres. Mary Tempest organized a Breakfast with Champions Food Drive at the outside pavilion at the Tunkhannock Public Library to benefit HANDS of Wyoming County and the Wyoming County Food Bank. 44 boxes of nonperishable and canned foods were collected plus $250 worth of gift cards and a $50 check. The recipients were overjoyed with the donations.
Thank you to everyone who provided donations, those who helped with the food drive and to John and Ron who transported the food boxes to HANDS and the Food Bank.
