Janine Fortney Spoke at Apr 6 Rotary Luncheon

Janine Fortney, Director of the Children's Advocacy Center (CAC) for Susquehanna and Wyoming Counties spoke at the Apr 6, 2017 Rotary Club Luncheon at Purkey's Pink Apple.  Janine provided a summary of the services provided by the CAC to abused children and their parent(s)/guardians. They served approximately 50 children in 2016 with slightly more from Susquehanna compared to Wyoming County. They are funded by grants and donations from individuals, businesses and corporations. They are doing several lines of fund-raising activities and welcome volunteers who can help with copying, filing and other activities in support of the center and its work.
